JOSHUA GRIFFIN is the manager of the Purpose Driven Youth Ministry team. He is an active blogger and venue pastor at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. Griffin was a full-time youth pastor in Michigan for eight years prior to coming on staff at Saddleback. His duties include managing the PDYM community website, training youth workers, and teaching seminars on how to successfully devour an all-you-can-eat buffet.

sharing your faith. We’ll hit on some practical guidelines to protect
yourself online, some dos and don’ts and learn a few ways to get more
people to your website or blog.

Learn the basics of Purpose Driven Youth Ministry that will guide you in establishing a youth ministry based on evangelism, fellowship, discipeship, ministry and worship. This first session covers the discovery of the purposes, the benefits, and a challenge to follow them as a model for your student ministry. Plenty of time for Q&A!

Take an advanced step in PDYM and evaluate your current programs and purposes. Learn about student targets and how to communicate the vision for health. We will talk about each of the biblical purposes in detail as well, unpacking how we accomplish them at Saddleback Church and prepare you to discover how it would look in your student ministry as well. Plenty of time for Q&A!
